This business of life is not about becoming something different than you are. It is about accepting the truth about your specialness. And that means letting go of your beliefs of unworthiness - accepting the truth of who you are. It is the resolution of that seeming conflict that will eventually bring you to discard what you have come to believe and accept the truth about yourself.
Some people view our present spate of problems as the harbinger of The Four Horsemen predicted by St. John in Revelations. Whether or not that is true, each of these crises are serious. They have consequences that are already raising serious hell with the foundations of our culture and if we do not give them their due, the results will be catastrophic.
Today the world faces three major crises and in addition America faces a political catastrophe. We’ll settle the catastrophe Nov. 3rd, but the other three: Black Lives Matter, the COVID-19 pandemic and Global Warming are going be with us for a while. What are we to learn from these three phenomenon?
Our resistance and the energy it generates through conflict, provides the driving force for a system that will eventually bring us home. Perhaps you already know that there is a great deal more to life than to be born, pay bills and die.
