life is about more than your everyday struggle. You are in a unique learning environment with a remarkable curriculum and an unconventional learning process. The knowledge gained comes through your experiences and the course material consists of the events of your life. Your pain is because you do not yet hold the truth and, as a result, cannot move in harmony with the rest of The Universe.
Like most people, you have probably wondered why you were here. After all, what is the purpose of all this? You are one of the most magnificent creations of The Universe, and it seems that you should have a greater purpose than to simply be born, work for 40 years, raise a couple of kids and then die. Doesn’t it seem that there should be more to it all?
You came here to work on an aspect of your spiritual development. But we usually try and sidestep that issue because it asks us to be more vulnerable than we feel comfortable with.
Do you know anyone who doesn’t have troubles? Think about it. Anyone? We accept problems as a part of life, but doesn’t it seem a little odd that everyone has them, that no one gets off scot-free? And when you find anything that affects everyone, you need to start looking beyond the surface for a deeper explanation.
