Drug addicts, criminals, domestic abusers, school shooters, pedophiles, neo-Nazis, gang members - we treat these behaviors differently without realizing that they are all manifestations - symptoms - of deeply seated pain. Pain that originates from the same source. Realizing that might shift our treatment of these people dramatically.
Do you know anyone who doesn’t have troubles? Think about it. Anyone? We accept problems as a part of life, but doesn’t it seem a little odd that everyone has them, that no one gets off scot-free? And when you find anything that affects everyone, you need to start looking beyond the surface for a deeper explanation.

Moving to the God Space means relinquishing the ego. And that means giving up a good deal of what we believe to be true, especially about ourselves. Surrendering to the God Space threatens the foundations we have built our lives on, even though these foundations are patently false.
And the one thing that stands out from all the rest is how strongly we resist making the changes that are asked of us. Most people have to get backed into a corner with no other way out, before they will make the changes that The Universe has been asking of them all along.
